2018 is looking to be an exciting year for classic car events, with a number of exhibitions taking place across the UK. We’ll be keeping up to date with all the latest excursions and one that caught our eye was the Land Rovers Legends display that’s happening on May 26th and May 27th. Hailed as a celebration of Land Rover’s 70th anniversary, the two day event will be held at Bicester Heritage in Oxfordshire.

A variety of vehicles will be displayed, ranging from original cars to rare conversions and military versions. All of the motors are gathered in one place to commemorate the best of Land Rover’s past and present. The cars are being provided by Land Rover clubs and restoration specialists will also be present in the main exhibition hangar. Mark Evans, host of A 4×4 is Born, is one of the restorers who’ll be attending the event and is hosting the live stage. Enthusiasts will also be able to purchase spare parts, accessories and memorabilia.

An award ceremony will also be taking place to decide the best of the best in three categories. The most original vehicle award will be given to an unrestored Land Rover that has originality and authenticity. The best restored vehicle award will go to a Land Rover that’s been partially or fully restored to the original factory specification. A car that’s been modified to a high quality will receive the best bespoke vehicle award.

Nominations for the awards are open and can be submitted via an online form. Shortlisted owners will be given a pair of VIP passes for the event and they’ll be granted entry to the VIP Hospitality area.

In addition, there will be plenty of presentations to check out. You’ll be able to hear stories from a range of industry experts and specialists who’ve been involved with the creation of some of the world’s most memorable cars. This will give you the opportunity to expand your knowledge as well. For example, there will be a presentation around a variety of Land Rover equipment, including agricultural, industrial and commercial.

Priority parking is available for visitors who’re driving Land Rovers. The event is an ideal place for you to indulge your passion for classic cars. For more information you can go to https://www.landroverlegends.com
