Thankfully today, there’s a motorcycle out there for absolutely everyone. Whether you’re a daily commuter, an adventure enthusiast or a track day nut, there’s a model to suit your needs. Covid-19 lockdown has been a challenging time for everybody, not least motorcycle dealers and manufacturers, so now that restrictions are lifting there is plenty of metal to be shifted. Most of the major manufacturers have special offers on to entice potential buyers, and here are just a few…

Suzuki – 4 years 0% APR and £500 off until the end of June

This Suzuki deal comes with the caveat from the Japanese manufacturer, who cheekily say that it also “may include massive grins, envious glances, an awesome soundtrack and longer routes home.” This offer is available on eight Suzuki models including the full fat sports bikes in the range, the GSX-R1000R and standard GSX-R1000, as well as the GSX-S1000F, GSX-S1000, the retro-looking Katana, the naked GSX-S750, and the adventure models V-Strom 650XT and standard V-Strom 650.

To qualify for the deal, you need a minimum deposit of £500, be a UK resident and over 18 years old. To claim the additional £500 off, you just need to contact your local Suzuki dealer directly, or via the Suzuki website, and quote “EXTRA £500”. Be quick though, this deal is due to end on 30th June 2020!

Honda – £1,000 Back to Work Bonus

In the wake of the global Covid-19 pandemic, Honda have created this offer with commuters and social distancing in mind. Honda’s ‘Back to Work Bonus’ is a customer saving incentive of up to £1,000 that can be used towards the purchase price of a new bike, or even riding gear, accessories and rider training.

The amount of money customer can save on a new bike through the offer is dependent on the model. The Super Cub C125, MSX125, the iconic Monkey, and CB125F are all eligible for a saving of £200 and 0% APR, and the CB125R and PCX125 are eligible for £200 off, but not 0% APR. You can get £500 off of the CMX500 Rebel, CB500F and CB500X, with the CBR500R eligible for a £200 saving, as well as a complimentary rear seat cowl and the first three services for £149.

If you fancy something that you could use for commuting, weekend trips, and a bit of off roading or green laning, the ‘Back to Work Bonus’ offer also incorporates the Honda NC750X and CRF1100L Africa Twin. The NC750X comes with £250 off on top of another £500 customer saving, with the new Africa Twin available with the full £1,000 ‘Back to Work Bonus’.

The offer is available until 3rd August 2020.

Kawasaki – 0% APR over 3 and 4 years until the end of June

Kawasaki is also offering 0% APR on a range of bikes right now, again until the end of June. If you’re after a small capacity machine but with big bike styling, then the fully-faired Ninja 125 and the naked Z125 could be for you. The 0% APR deal is available for three years across the 2019 models and with a minimum £99 deposit.

Kawasaki’s 2020 A2 compliant machines, the Versys 650, Ninja 650, Z650, Vulcan S, Ninja 400, Z400, J300 and J125, are also available on a 0% deal. This offer is also over three years and requires a minimum £99 deposit. If you’re not fussed about having the very latest bike, the 2019 versions of the same models versions are available on four years 0% APR instead of three, but require a minimum £999 deposit. Take your pick!

Aprilia – 125cc models on 0% APR

Aprilia arguably offer the most exotic 125 machines compared to any other manufacturer today. If you’re 17 and have a CBT, or ride on an A1 licence, this could be the best opportunity to own a brand new one.

The 0% APR deal is available until the end of September this year with a minimum £500 deposit, and is valid on the racey Aprilia RS 125, RS 125 GP Replica starting at £166.63 per month over two years, the new Tuono 125, and the off-road style RX 125 and SX 125 at £124.96 per month over 24 months.

Ducati – 0% APR on the Scrambler until the end of June

The new Ducati Scrambler (pictured) range was first launched in 2015 and was the Italian manufacturer’s first serious investment in the retro class since the Sport 1000 café racer, which ended in 2008. Until the end of this month, Ducati is offering 0% APR on the new 399cc A2 compliant Scrambler Sixty2, as well as the 800 models.

The minimum deposit requirement is £399, but if you have £2200 to put down, then you could own one for £175 per month. This is the example Ducati is using to tempt riders itching for a new toy!
