Classic Bike Trackdays - Probably the best fun you can have on a classic motorcycle

Suzuki_Live

Classic Bike Trackdays are predominantly for pre-2000 bikes although some later machines which are in the spirit of the events are welcomed too. There are limited numbers on track, and groups are split by machine age, capacity and/or rider experience, with all levels of experience welcome. You can even bring and ride multiple bikes if you like. There's a great friendly atmosphere both on the track and in the paddock, which is a key feature of all their events which often resemble a rolling wishlist of bikes you have always lusted after!

If you do not have the inclination to ride on circuit or your machine is too new, the action is not confined to the track, and you can still be part of the show.  So, for those of you in need of a nudge to drag that bike out from the back of the garage, remember why you own it, dust it down and ready it for the summer as there are three glorious full weekends, and three one-day events you really need to add to your diary.

Saturday 15 April: The Classic Bike Burn Up at Castle Combe

A laid-back season opener where the team host their usual riders and classics including the Vintage Motor Cycle Club and Brooklands Museum Members with some real vintage beauties coming along, displaying their machines in the paddock as well as bringing them to life on track.

Free entry for all spectators.

Weekend 27-28 May: The Welsh Classic Motorcycle Festival at Anglesey

As well as constant track action throughout the weekend from some amazing classics and iconic race bikes, 2023 celebrates anniversaries from Yamaha’s diminutive FS1E to the mental R1, the BMW K1 and the awesome Aprilia Tuono. All the owners have the opportunity to head out on track for a blast or join the ride out on the “Chippy Run” through the beautiful Welsh countryside back to the circuit for a fresh fish supper.

Saturday evening entertainment kicks off with CBT’s resident DJ, with the evening highlights including celebrity guests on stage reliving racing stories, and closing the night with a live band.

Ticketed event which includes camping for all the spectators.
