BMW unveil new Performance Academy on-track training courses

Fancy honing your track skills with current and former British Superbike riders on the latest BMW machinery? Well now you can!

If you want to learn some trackcraft with some of the very best riders in the business, then BMW Motorrad UK have you covered with their new, track-based Performance Academy which will run at dates across 2022 at one of the most scenic race circuits on the globe: Anglesey.

BMW has plenty of history of delivering great driving experiences through its car division and now they’re transferring those skills to two wheels as well.

There are four different courses on offer in order to help riders of all levels become both faster and safer, from level one which is designed for those who have no track experience whatsoever as an introduction, through to the M Experience which is the ultimate class for those who are already at a high level, and want to push themselves further.

Not only does the Performance Academy offer track time and tuition, but each course provides BMW machinery for you to ride, from the F 900 R to begin with through to the S 1000 R, S 1000 RR and then ultimately the M 1000 R.

Impressively, from level two onwards each student will receive real-time feedback via the very latest in Bluetooth helmet tech, which is all supported by video footage from instructor machinery behind.

This is all done thanks to intimate sessions and low numbers, as BMW Motorrad UK National Marketing and PR Manager Scott Grimsdall said: “We wanted to keep the school quite intimate and the groups relatively small to deliver a premium yet relaxed and supportive experience. Every rider will benefit from quality time with the instructors.”

You don’t have to be a BMW owner to join and there are a whole host of dates that begin in Spring 2022. Prices start from £649, so for more information or to book a place head over to the BMW Motorrad Performance Academy website.
