Terms and Conditions

The Promoter is: Carole Nash Insurance Consultants (Ireland) DAC, a subsidiary of Carole Nash Insurance Consultants Limited, a retail intermediary authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority in the UK. Carole Nash Insurance Consultants (Ireland) DAC is regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland (Ref. C187762). Registered in Ireland, number 633718. Registered address: Cobalt House Unit 5, Block 4B, First Floor, Blanchardstown Corporate Park, Dublin 15, Republic of Ireland (“we”, “our”, “the Promoter”). The Promoter is part of Markerstudy Group.

  1. This prize draw is run by the Promoter.
  2. This prize draw is open to all residents of the Republic of Ireland, aged 18 years+ who holds an EU or UK driving licence (if taking out a classic car, car or bike insurance policy), except the Promoter’s employees and Markerstudy Group employees, their relatives and agents organising or promoting the prize draw. Proof of identity and eligibility may be required.
  3. To enter the prize draw, you must visit the Carole Nash Ireland stand during any event that Carole Nash attends. Entries can only be made in person at the stand, where a member of the Carole Nash team will take your details to provide a quote and automatically enter you into the prize draw.

    If a planned event does not go ahead or Carole Nash does not attend for any reason, entry opportunities for that event will not be replaced, extended, or substituted

  4. Entries will open from 12pm Friday 1 May 2026 (“Opening Time”) and close at 23:59 Tuesday 30 June 2026 (“Closing Time”). If you enter the prize draw, either before the Opening Time or after the Closing Time your entry will not be accepted.
  5. These terms and conditions apply to the prize draw to win up to €250 towards classic car, car, motorbike or home insurance, inclusive of Government levies and fees (the “Prize”). The Prize may be used towards a new policy or a renewal policy. The Prize is subject to availability, change and substitution at the Promoter’s sole discretion.

    i. Up to €250 will be applied towards the cost of the winner’s insurance premium at the point of setting up the cover.

    ii. If the winner’s premium is more than €250, the winner will be required to pay the difference in order to setup the insurance (e.g. if the premium is €300, the remaining €50 will need to be paid by the winner)

    iii. If the Promoter (Carole Nash Insurance Consultants (Ireland) DAC) is unable to set up the insurance due to eligibility, underwriting, risk acceptance, regulatory requirements, or because the Winner is contractually unable to move their existing insurance (e.g. tied into a policy they cannot cancel before the redemption date), a cash alternative of €250 will be issued. No cash alternative will be offered in any other circumstances, including where the Winner does not wish to proceed with the insurance or declines cover

    iv. The Prize must be redeemed by 30 June 2027

  6. No purchase is necessary to enter the prize draw; entry is free.
  7. Entrants may submit an entry at each event where the prize draw is promoted, however only one entry per individual/email address will be submitted into the prize draw, regardless of the number of events attended. Duplicate entries will be removed.
  8. The Prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable and non‑redeemable for cash or any other alternatives. Provision of insurance cover remains subject to the Promoter’s normal underwriting and acceptance criteria.
  9. There will be one winner (“Winner”). The Winner will be chosen from all eligible entries received by an automated random number generation process which will be verified by the promoter and/or its agents.
  10. The Winner will be notified via telephone within 5 working days of the Closing Date: 23:59, Tuesday 30 June 2026. Winners will only be contacted by the Promoter, through the official Carole Nash channels.
  11.  The Prize will be applied at the inception or renewal of the policy. The Winner will be contacted by an authorised agent of Carole Nash Insurance Consultants (Ireland) DAC, 30 days prior to the inception or renewal of their insurance policy, who will complete a quote and apply the €250 discount at that stage. Following receipt of the completed quote, the Winner may choose whether to proceed with or decline the insurance premium. If the Winner accepts the Prize, they will receive an email confirming that their cover has been set up. The applied discount will be detailed within the insurance policy pack.
  12. Once the discount and insurance cover has been applied, a 14‑working‑day cooling‑off period applies. Full policy terms and conditions are available in the policy document.
  13. The Promoter shall not be held responsible for any non-delivery of the Prize.
  14. If the Winner cannot be contacted, does not claim the prize within 10 working days of notification or if the Prize is declined, the Prize shall be deemed as unaccepted, and a supplementary Winner may be chosen at the Promoter’s sole discretion.
  15. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not properly received for whatever reason.
  16. The prize draw cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers.

  18. Any personal data relating to the Winner or any other entrants will be used solely to administer the prize draw and in accordance with the Data Protection Terms found at the bottom of this page.
  19. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the prize draw, the Prize and/or these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God, global pandemic, or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the Promoter’s control. The Promoter also reserves the right to disqualify any entrants who do not comply with these terms and conditions.
  20. The Promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the prize draw will be final and no correspondence will be entered into in respect of the Promoter’s decision.
  21. The prize draw and these terms and conditions will be governed by Irish law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.
  22. Entry into the prize draw by you (the entrant), will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  23. Nothing in these terms and conditions shall limit or exclude the Promoter’s liability for a) death or personal injury caused by its negligence and b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
  24. Subject to the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter shall not be liable for any claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for damages or losses to persons, the Winner, or of property, which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, loss, ownership and/or use of the Prize and/or use.

Who is Processing Your Personal Data

Use of Personal Data

Your personal information will be collected and processed by us and, where applicable, our service providers and suppliers, for the purposes of administering and fulfilling the prize draw. This includes contacting you to verify your identity and notifying you when you win.

You may be asked if you want to receive a quote and/or marketing communications from us when you enter the prize draw. If you choose to do so, we will also use your personal information to contact you about the quote and for marketing purposes (see our Privacy Notice for more details). You can opt out from receiving marketing communications from us at any time.     

Storage and Retention of Personal Data

Your personal information will be retained only for the duration of the prize draw and to finalise the Winner, after which time it will be securely destroyed, unless you have chosen to receive a quote or receive marketing communications from us.  If you receive a quote from us or purchase a policy, then please refer to our main privacy policy for details about data storage and retention.

Consent to Use of Winner’s Personal Data for Promotional Purposes

If you are the Winner, we may wish to post stories or images relating to your win, including your picture or video, in the following:

Social Media posts (such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram)

Marketing material for the Promoter’s brands e.g. on our social media accounts, e-newsletters and websites.

If you are the Winner, you will be contacted separately following conclusion of the prize draw at which point you will be given more information about the promotional stories we wish to post, and your written consent will be sought.  

Acceptance of Data Protection Terms

By entering the prize draw, you acknowledge that any personal information provided by you in connection with the prize draw will be processed as set out in the Data Protection Terms above and in accordance with our Privacy Notice, which sets out full details of how we process personal data and how you can exercise your rights as a data subject.
